At Silica Ceramics, every piece is carefully handcrafted and packaged with care. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver orders.

Processing Times
As our products are handmade, processing times may vary depending on whether an item is in stock or made to order.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page:

In-stock items are typically dispatched within 3-7 business days after payment has been received.
Business days exclude weekends and South African public holidays.
During product launches, promotions, or holiday periods, processing times may be longer than usual.
Shipping Locations
We currently deliver throughout South Africa.
If international shipping becomes available, eligible destinations will be listed during checkout.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery location, parcel size, and selected shipping method.
Any applicable shipping promotions or free shipping offers will be clearly communicated on our website.
Delivery Timeframes
Once your order has been dispatched, estimated delivery times are generally 3-7 business days.
Delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control, including:

Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking information, where available.
Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active after receiving your dispatch confirmation.
Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Silica Ceramics is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be resent.
Receiving Your Order
Please inspect your parcel as soon as it is delivered.
If the outer packaging appears significantly damaged, we recommend photographing the package before opening it.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include:

clear photographs of the damaged item

photographs of the packaging

a brief description of the damage
Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
Lost or Delayed Shipments
If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us so that we can assist in locating your shipment with the courier.
Once an order has been handed to the courier, delivery is managed by the courier service. While we will do our best to assist with any shipping issues, delivery timelines are ultimately subject to the courier's operations.
Packaging
Every order is carefully packaged to help protect fragile ceramic items during transit.
Although we take great care in packaging each order, damage during shipping can occasionally occur. If this happens, please contact us promptly so we can assess the situation and provide an appropriate resolution.
Risk of Loss
Ownership and responsibility for your order transfer to you once the parcel has been delivered to the delivery address provided during checkout.
